  • Governance Group formed from 5 partner organisations and operating.
  • Commitment to work in Te Tiriri/Treaty-based relationship.
  • Evaluation plan drafted.
  • Communications plan adopted.

Funding

  • Funding applications completed.
  • Funding obtained from Community Partnership Fund, the JR McKenzie Trust and Lottery Community.

Project management & plan

  • Workshop on business and technical requirements completed.
  • Project Manager, Stephen Blyth, appointed.
  • Selection process completed for developer.
  • IT development supplier selected and contract negotiations complete.
  • IT development contracted and IT build underway:
    • Scenarios and user stories completed.
    • Non-functional requirements document drafted.
    • IT build timeline agreed and launch date for prototype website agreed.
  • Specialist advisors recruited and input negotiated.
  • User reference group set up and first meeting scheduled .
  • Membership agreement drafted.

Design development

  • Graphic designer appointed and branding/ look ‘n feel workshop held.
  • New name CommunityCentral decided.
  • Accessibility advice and input negotiated with AccEase.

Communications

  • Briefings made to four partner organisations, and selected community and voluntary sector organisations.
  • Information flyer produced and distribution underway.
  • Communications plan complete.
  • Engagement plan drafted.
  • CommunityCentral Blog for project updates complete.
  • New mailing list set up for interested groups.

Where we’re heading next

  • Longer-term planning for funding to keep CommunityCentral going.
